Wii repair disc found

This disc was apparently found after a repair. It is used to restore Nintendo Wii consoles to their factory state and allows you to change some internal settings.

What could professional code writers do if they got their hands on that I wonder?

For people that manage to get those should try seeing what they can do with their Wii, but if I got it, I'd try to get another Wii system, or just give it away. I don't want to risk killing my Wii by trying to alter code.

but what exactly would you gain from having it? if your wii broke, wouldn't you just contact nintendo?
