Yah, agreed. If you took the Co-op out of Brawl but enhanced the SSE alot, the playtime hours would drop reeeelly fast, whether the single player is good. It's not as fun, imo, to play games while my bro's just watching playing DS or helping me in some way. I'd much rather play together.
