Animal Crossing Wii is intended for online play, as it's predecessor, Animal Crossing: Wild World has, to bust that myth. No release date confirmed yet, but possibly late this year.

Word on the Street:
-A new DS/Wii Connections are coming about, one of the biggest is a DS Download station like the ones you find at the store, just now on your Wii.

-A new DS? A new DS without a GBA slot?

-Biggest one: Nintendo may be working on their next big system. One with improved graphics, better Motion-sensing technology, online network (kinda like Xbox Live on the 360), and HD compatibility.

-Splinter Cell: Conviction may not be coming to Wii.

EA is working on another game w/ the help of the Balance Board.
Picture, if you will, Boogie II! That was completely unexpected for me when I heard it but that WOULD, admittedly, be a good idea to be able to dance while singing. I can see this being true as I'm sure they wouldn't drop the Boogie series just yet.

Also, Space Channel 5 may be revived on the Wii just like NiGHTS, and Samba de Amigo.

Forget that! What about Tony Hawk and SSX on the Balance Board! Now THAT's going to be awesome, especially the latter.

How could the controls be "bad", I mean honestly. Pulling off tricks with the Remote and Nunchuk (and I don't mean shaking, I mean REALLY pulling off tricks like how it was superbly executed w/ Blur) and maneuvering w/ the Balance Board. Mind you I could see the levels being slightly more linear but if EA really takes advantage of what they've been given here - essentially, a clean slate - then I can't expect anything less than Blur since I thought Blur was superb and there's no way they could make it any worse.
