:o! Insight has been given with regards to Goldeneye being taken off the list to be added to the VC (thus involving other Rare titles as well! :o)

Sources within Microsoft who were very close to the project (and who also pointed us towards the above, alleged screen) have told us the game was canned not because of disagreements between the two parties, but because of Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata, who believes that, as a title which appeared on a Nintendo console, GoldenEye shouldn't be made available on a competitor's system. This despite a proposed deal from Microsoft that would have seen not only GoldenEye released on the Virtual Console, but other, unspecified Rare games (Jetpac? Sabre Wulf?) as well. How very upsetting. Before you set your tasers to "hate", though, remember, this is coming from one side of a two-sided story."

That's disappointing.

At least I know DKC won't be taken off because Nintendo owns the right to the DKC series.

I highly doubt this is true, but if it is, I'm curious as to what prompted them into making a sequel when (a) the game's not that good in terms of gameplay and longevity and (b) it didn't do THAT well in sales anyway but here it is, for better or worse:

"A sequel to Carnival Games is coming in the fall, with other platform(s) added to the mix."

Sounds interesting, though I haven't tried the first one.

Another one:

Here's the latest rumor behind Brawl's delay:

"Everyone is going insane over the Brawl delay. Japan doesn’t have it bad at all, NA has a bit of a delay, but Europe/Australia are still waiting for a date. I feel really bad for those guys! So what’s the reasoning behind this most recent delay? Rumor has it that the delay is all related to shipments.

Nintendo simply doesn’t have enough time to press as many copies as they would like. Brawl was worked on right up to the last minute, which leaves Nintendo with very little time to print copies. Quite simply, Nintendo needs more time to print a larger amount of initial shipments. This looks like it might be the case for Japan as well as NA. Once again, this is rumor…but definitely a plausible one."

actually on http://www.game.co.uk, it specifys dates for brawl, mkwii and wii fit, they're like april - may. but many have release dates for september. so i can preorder brawl soon once i get paid again at start of month

Rumor has it that Factor 5 is developing a Wii game, but they're keeping it secret. One source has claimed that is, indeed, a Kid Icarus title. I can foresee this coming to fruition, actually.
