4. Version History

VERSION 1.15:
All Story Mode info added. Nearly all records now added. NEW SHCUT:
Bunnies are A-mazing! Missing information missed on ‘Sleep Well’
added. Scored 1000 points on three new games: Disturbed at
Night/Survival, A-mazing, and Race Good a Like Bunnies. I’m now
close to 1000 on Bunnies Like a Good Race (5 points off),
React (1) Shot at, and Fly Downwards. New tips added for Jump (1)
and Over-sensitive. Edited Bunny Hunt section summary. Moved
REFERENCE LIST up to the beginning of the Mini-game sections as
opposed to the end. Edited FAQ a bit. Edited Challenges section:
more info on Multiplayer and unlock requirements. New Challenge
scores and mini-games for some of the challenges added. New tips
added for Bunnies Wanna Have Fun (2), Burrows. Edited Scoring
Glitches section. Now I just need a 2nd Wii Remote and I can proceed
to the remainder of the challenges and the movies if I perfect the
Co-Op Bunny Hunts: maybe, though, I can unlock Bunnies Psychology,
Volume 3 before that happens. But to scrape 1000 points is going to
be quite difficult as I’m doing really well with all the mini-games
it’s so hard to even get some points anymore. I think the Slide and
the Memory one I have left and maybe the Soccer one may help in
that regard.

Version 0.88:
Scoring Glitches section added. Records section
added. New updates in “My Bests” section – some mini-games I
recently scored 1000 or really high on. Added new section
“My Appeal”. Different format for some mini-games. Touch-ups and
Fixes. Realized I didn’t finish off the Dancing games section.
Format established for all mini-games. Starting to fill in
most of the tips and other info. Typos fixed. Added A LOT of info
to Bunny Hunt section. Edited “FAQ” section. Added new, and filled
in lists for the “Mini-Game Analysis” section. Edited mistake
on the amount of blocks the game takes.

Version 0.6:
First upload: the guide meets GameFAQS standards, however, details
in some of the sections could be added in a later version.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

Next Updates:
- Continue to add tips for the Bunny Hunt stages.
- Continue to add tips for all mini-games in Score Mode.
- Add Review?

5. Game Features

(5a) Overview

Welcome to my guide for Rayman Raving Rabbids - one of the
first of many mini-game collections for the Wii Console! Let’s get
started shall we?

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

(5b) Game Controls

Here are the controls you’ll make frequency of throughout the
game either on the Main Menu or in the mini-games:

WII REMOTE

*Control Pad: Used to scroll through the Pause Menu.

*A Button: Very commonly used. Used in mini-games for various
purposes; used on the Main Menus to confirm selections.

*B Button: Somewhat common. Used in some mini-games where you
would expect the A Button to be used (e.g., Warthog Races and
Bunny Hunts).

*Minus: Used to go back or cancel selections on the Menus.

*Plus: Serves as the start button for the mini-games and is also
used to validate selections, advance to successive screens, and
bring up the Pause Menu.

*Home: Used to bring up the Home Menu where you can customize
Wii Remote settings, see Wii Remote battery life and connections
for all Wii Remotes you’ve properly synched and you can go back to
the Wii Menu from here.

*1 Button: Brings up the web guide at the Mini-Game results and is
used to view your overall point total, as well as the amount of
points needed for the next reward if in Score Mode. During the Mini-
Game Tutorials, it is used to bring up the Rule screen.

*2 Button: Brings up best scores, your best performance in the game
(if in Score Mode) and the requirement for 1000 points in Score Mode,
all used during the Mini-Game screens.

NUNCHUK

*Z Button: Used in the Bunny Hunts to use the chain/grapple to interact
with environments and to grab bunnies to use them as shields.

*Analog Stick: Used to move Rayman in applicable mini-games.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

(5c) Modes

The game spans a total of 4 main modes - seemingly, not big but
very extensive once you realize Score Mode’s full potential.

* Story Mode (dubbed “History Mode” in manual)
- This mode allows you to advance the game’s storyline.
This mode must be cleared before you can “unblock” and play
in Score Mode.
* Score Mode
- After completing Story Mode, this mode will become available.
This mode allows you to replay all the mini-games in the game
either by yourself or with up to 4 players either in tandem or
simultaneously.
* Audio Menu (misleadingly, dubbed “Options” in manual)
- Here you can adjust the Audio settings: that being SFX, BGM and
the Master Volume. That’s it…
- Here’s what the manual SAID you could do: basically, you can
customize various settings here such as “Audio, Video and the
Wii Remote’s rumble feature”. The latter two were nowhere to be
found in the Wii Version. :S
* Bonus
- You can view unlocked videos and artwork here that you’ve
earned in Score Mode.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

(5d) Multiplayer

Throughout this guide, you'll find tips that will help you gain the
edge when you play with your friends.

People have been confused as to how the controllers work here.
Each player must have at least one Wii Remote. Nunchuks will only
be required for games that use them and where you must play
simultaneously alongside your friends (for instance, you’ll each
need a Wii Remote/Nunchuk to play Bunnies are Bad at Peek-a-Boo).

This game features no computer players so the entire game is based
on your results if you play alone. However, in some mini-games like
Bunnies Don’t Slide and the Warthog-racing games include computer-
controlled opponents who serve as “fillers” for select mini-games.

For more information on each of the mini-games, keep reading:

6. Story Mode

So what really is the plot behind Rayman RR anyway? How do
you go about advancing the storyline? Well, one day, Rayman,
enjoying a lovely picnic with the Globoxes, is taken away by
a fearsome rabbit, known as Serguei. The Baby Globoxes are also
kidnapped by the fearsome foes and they are taken to a coliseum
whereby Rayman is used to satisfy their personal amusement and
entertainment.

“Rayman has become the Rabbids’ toy. Every morning, he is
thrown into the arena and must fight in the four qualification
trials found behind the four little doors.

He must win at least three of the four trials to be able to
access the day’s final trial.”

The game spans a total of “15 days” each with 5 mini-games: a
total of 75 mini-games. Each day will feature a new mini-game
or a mini-game with a new feature to increase its difficulty
(dubbed with the words “Part 2” at the end of it). Only 3/4
must be won but for you to get 100% completion in this mode,
at the end, you’ll need to go back and complete every single trial
successfully.

Generally, the requirements for completing the mini-games are
quite simple but as your progress, naturally, the requirements will
get tougher and tougher.

Once at least 3 trials have been completed for that day, the final
trial (like a Boss, if you will) will appear in the middle door,
which generally have pretty easy requirements – they can either
be a Bunny Hunt or a Race.

Once the day is done, Rayman is thrown into his prison cell for the
remainder of the night. Over time, as trials are completed, his
cell will look more and more spruced up until finally, his prison
will start to look more like a palace!

In this cell, there are a couple things you can do:
-> The Window
- After the third day or so, Rayman will learn that he can use the
plungers earned from the mini-games to climb up the wall which
leads to a window that leads outside of his prison cell. Every
time you come here, you can see how close/far you are from
escaping.
-> The Toilet
- Here, Rayman will remember what happened to him since he’s been
held captive by the psychotic rabbits. You can replay mini-games
from any of the days (1 through 15) and completing every
mini-game will earn you the 100% completion for this mode. Too,
completing all 4 trials in a day, will earn you bonus items for
your cell such as a bed, a jukebox, and other accessories.
-> The Jukebox
- Here, Rayman can listen to music from the Dancing games (plus a
special track). Listen to the songs as they may help you “get
into the rhythm” while you play the dancing mini-games.
Unlockable tracks are (in order):
Misirlou, Good Time, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Hip Hop Horray,
La Bamba, Dark Iron Bunnies, The Butcher Deejay, and Ubisoft
Montpellier Choir.
-> The Wardrobe
- A special cupboard where Rayman will keep all his costumes that
he unlocks from completing all 5 trials on certain days.
Many costumes will become available to you and these same
costumes will be available for use once Score Mode becomes
unlocked. Costumes can be combined as you are able to
change features for the following elements: Hair, Eyewear,
Clothing, and Footwear. All the costume combinations are the
following: Rayman (normal), Disco, Granny, Gangsta, Rock and
Roll, Raymaninho, Gothic, Caramba, Dee-Jay and Bunny.

What should be noted, too, is that you’ll only be able to save the
Game when you are sent back to your cell. If you exit Story Mode
while in the coliseum, all mini-games you’ve completed will have to
be restarted once you revisit Story Mode. The game saves
automatically every time you enter your prison cell.

In terms of mini-games, though, here’s where I’ll walkthrough all
Days 1 through 15 and list all the mini-games you’ll participate in
on each of the days as well as the requirements for completing each
trial for that day.

* Difficulty ratings are based on the skill you’ll need in order to
successfully complete the challenge/trial.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 1

Your first day. (Insert cliché here.)
Get used to the mechanics of the game during this time as you’re
faced with fairly easy objectives today.

Be sure to acquaint yourself with how the dancing games work.
The dancing games should ALWAYS be one of the three trials you do.

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Don’t Give Gifts
REQUIREMENT: Deliver the package before it explodes.
DIFFICULTY: *

Bunnies Don’t Know What to Do with Cows
REQUIREMENT: Throw Daisy at least 60.00 meters.
DIFFICULTY: ***

Bunnies Like to Stuff Themselves
REQUIREMENT: Get them as fat as possible for 300 points.
DIFFICULTY: **

Bunnies are Fantastic Dancers
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: *

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Gifts, Stuff Themselves, Fantastic Dancers

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 2

I was surprised to learn that the 2nd Day may be one of the hardest
to get all trials completed (when going for 100% completion).

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Never Close Doors
REQUIREMENT: Block them in the toilets for 00’50”00.
DIFFICULTY: ****
+ The yellow one is tricky so keep a close eye on that one.
+ It's not the fingers that slam the door. Aim the palm of the
hand right and then slam.

Bunnies Can’t Jump
REQUIREMENT: Jump in time and earn 2000 points.
DIFFICULTY: ***

Bunnies are Addicted to Carrot Juice
REQUIREMENT: Fill the diving masks for 1’20”00.
DIFFICULTY: *****
+ Just keep at it. This is the hardest game in both this mode and
Score Mode to perfect. If you’re having trouble with this
requirement, you don’t want to see the requirement for Score Mode.
+ I suggest that after every 30 seconds or so, you take a quick
break by bringing up the Pause Menu with the PLUS Button. Once you
reach the minute-mark, be sure to take a break so you don’t risk
messing up here.

Bunnies Love Disco Dancing
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: **

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Doors, Can’t Jump, Disco Dancing

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 3

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Can’t Fly
REQUIREMENT: Launch Super-Bunny at least 120.00 meters.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ Shake the two controllers as fast as you possibly can and you
should get this one as well.

Bunnies Don’t Use Toothpaste
REQUIREMENT: Keep the worms off for 1’00”00.
DIFFICULTY: ***

Bunnies are Slow to React
REQUIREMENT: Get the ball to the end of the course in less
than 0’30”00
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Even without the shortcut, you should still be able to just
make the time.
+ Watch out for the holes that will result in instant failure.

Bunnies Just Wanna Have Fun
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: *

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Toothpaste, Slow to React, Have Fun

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 4

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Don’t Milk Cows
REQUIREMENT: Milk like crazy and fill the buckets in less than
0'16"00.
DIFFICULTY: *

Bunnies Don’t Like Bats
REQUIREMENT: Get three pigs back in their pen before time reaches
0'00"00.
DIFFICULTY: *

Bunnies are A-mazing
REQUIREMENT: Get the bunny to the end of the maze in less than
0’20”00 without touching the sides.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Despite what you may think, hitting the sides doesn’t
result in instant failure. It just wastes time.
+ Don’t bother with the skinny shortcut at the end. It’s
actually more time-consuming than the main path.

Bunnies Get a Kick Out of Hip-Hop
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: **

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Bats, A-mazing, Milk Cows

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 5

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Have No Memory
REQUIREMENT: Get at least 40 points by memorizing and repeating
the bunnies’ sequences of sounds.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ You’ll need to remember up to about 8 or 10 notes to reach
the 40-point mark.

Bunnies Rarely Leave Their Burrows
REQUIREMENT: Get 400 points by hitting the bunnies.
DIFFICULTY: *
+ Just be wary of the -5 penalty for hitting the ground and you
should ace this one no probs.

Bunnies are Bad at Peek-a-Boo
REQUIREMENT: Get to the door in less than 1'05"00 without being
seen by the lookout.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Instant failure if you leave the circle or if you move when
you’re not supposed to.
+ Two-star difficulty is only because of your chances of failure.
If you're careful then this is another easy one.

Bunninos dansa La Bamba
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: ***

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Have No Memory, Burrows, Peek-a-Boo

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 6

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies are Heartless with Pigs
REQUIREMENT: Get the little on back to his mother in less than
0'25"00.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ If the pig squeaks, head along another path. Even if you're
constantly having to change paths you should make it easily.
Don’t think it’ll be this easy for Score Mode… >_<

Bunnies are Over-Sensitive
REQUIREMENT: Earn 80.00 points by giving the bunny a huge bump.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ If you're good at the Carrot Juice game, then this is a sinch
for you.

Bunnies Have a Poor Grasp of Anatomy
REQUIREMENT: Earn 700 points by putting the bunny back together
the right way.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ Closer the angle and position for each feature, the more
points you'll earn. Should be able to get over 700 if you're at
least a bit close.

Deep Down, Bunnies are Rockers
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: **

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Pigs, Over-Sensitive, Rockers

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 7

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Can’t Play Soccer
REQUIREMENT: Earn 2000 points by scoring your best three shots.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ Get at least one or two shots in and you should get it. If you
get the corners then you'll automatically have enough.

Bunnies Like Surprises
REQUIREMENT: Get 51,000 points by moving the bunny. The more
objects he touches, the more points you get.
DIFFICULTY: ***/****
+ Get consecutive combos by hitting the same object multiple times
in a row. The cacti are good for this.
+ This game will be a little harder for you if you're not able to
get the combos down right.
+ Use the fences to go a little faster towards the objects.
+ Just get 1,000 points at least and then the 50,000 will be added
to you at the end of the game.

Bunnies are Slow to React, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Get the ball to the end of the course in less
than 0’40”00
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Again, even without the shortcut, you should still have enough
time.
+ Watch out for the holes that will result in instant failure.

Bunnies are Raving Mad
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: ***/****

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Surprises, Slow to React (2), Raving Mad

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 8

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Never Close Doors, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Block them in the toilets for 00’40”00. Be careful
not to touch the bunnies that go past.
DIFFICULTY: ****
+ Instant failure if you touch one of the Frog-Rabbids
passing by.
+ If there's one passing by, aim for the door OVER the
Rabbids' head or try to sneak it in before he reaches it.
+ Watch out for doors that swing open twice in a row.

Bunnies Can’t Slide
REQUIREMENT: In three rounds, get closer than 7.50 meters from
the center. Don't forget to take into account the
rebounds from other bunnies.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ Aiming for the center dead-on usually gets you no-where. Try
bouncing off walls.
+ Don't be intimidated by your opponents. Sometimes they change
their direction like 2 seconds before the timer is up.

Bunnies Have Natural Rhythm
REQUIREMENT: Get rid of the bunnies in less than 1'00"00.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Watch out for the Rabbids' attacks and you'll do fine.

Bunnies are Fantastic Dancers, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: **

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Slide, Natural Rhythm, Fantastic (2)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 9

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Can’t Shear Sheep
REQUIREMENT: Get 400 points by shearing sheep.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ Touching the bunnies makes you lose points.
+ Faster the Nunchuk swings, the faster you'll shear wool.

Bunnies Don’t Like Being Shot At
REQUIREMENT: Earn 2500 points by hitting the bunny as many times
as possible. The closer you are to its head, the more
points you will earn.
DIFFICULTY: *
+ About 5 correctly-executed shots should suffice.

Bunnies Have a Great Ear for Music
REQUIREMENT: Find the choristers who sing out of tune until
you reach 900.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Fairly easy.

Bunnies Love Disco Dancing, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: **

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Sheep, Shot, Disco (2)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 10

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Can’t Herd
REQUIREMENT: Earn 1200 points by grouping animals of the same
family.
DIFFICULTY: *
+ Waiting until all animals are in the pen can reap great
rewards. You can even get up to a combo of x100.
+ Even without waiting for the animals you can still clear
this very easily.

Bunnies Don’t Milk Cows, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Milk like crazy and fill the buckets in less than
0'18"00.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ Remember to aim the Wii Remote anywhere when you're done
(supposedly on the bucket but it's not necessary, actually).

Bunnies are Heartless with Pigs, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Get the little on back to his mother in less than
0'25"00.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ If the pig squeaks, head along another path. Even if you're
constantly having to change paths you should make it easily.

Bunnies Just Wanna Have Fun, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: **

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Herd, Milk Cows, Have Fun (2)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 11

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Don’t Sleep Well
REQUIREMENT: Dodge for 0'25"00.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ It's around this time that the difficulty amps up so you
should be able to easily clear this. If not, then your second
try should be the winner.
+ Remember, no touching the ghosts or the sides.

Bunnies Rarely Leave Their Burrows, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Get 400 points by hitting the bunnies.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Just be careful not to hit the pigs and you’ll be fine.

Bunnies Don’t Like Bats, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Get three pigs back in their pen before time reaches
0'00"00.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ Watch out for the bunnies who will come up after you place one
pig back in the pen. If they succeed in stealing a pig, you must
Get it back before the bunny makes it back to the sub, otherwise,
You’ll fail the game. Just go for the second pig after the first is
dropped off, then, recover the first pig from the bunny. If you go
fast enough to the next/last pig, the bunny won’t make it back in
time.

Bunnies Get a Kick Out of Hip-Hop, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: ***

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Sleep Well, Burrows (2), Hip-Hop (2)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 12

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Don’t Understand Bowling
REQUIREMENT: Win 150 points by smashing the bunnies.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Not too difficult. You could probably get it in the first try, if
not the second. If you get a strike, you’ll get another shot so
thrust the Wii Remote forward as fast as you can and keep the speed
consistent as you travel straight down the lane.

Bunnies Can’t Slide, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: In three rounds, get closer than 2.00 meters from the
center.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ Just worry about making it to the last round. Falling in one of
the holes will result in instant failure.

Bunnies are Not Ostriches
REQUIREMENT: Unearth 10 super-bunnies in less than 1’00”00.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Grabbing the annoying bunny will result in a waste of time. But
Otherwise, you should be able to get this without too much effort.

Bunninos dansa La Bamba, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: **/***

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Bowling, Ostriches, La Bamba (2)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 13

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies are Slow to React, Part 3
REQUIREMENT: Get the ball to the end of the course in less
than 0'40"00.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Too easy. Even without the shortcut, you should still make it
with like 10 seconds to spare.
+ Watch out for the holes that will result in instant failure.

Bunnies Can’t Jump, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Jump in time and earn 1500 points.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ You can go at your own pace but if you go too slow, you
won't make the jump so go at a constant speed so as to avoid
missing the mark.

Bunnies Have No Memory, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Get at least 40 points by memorizing and repeating
the bunnies’ sequences of sounds.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ Same requirement, just an extra note to worry about. If you
cleared the one before, you should be able to clear this.

Deep Down, Bunnies are Rockers, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: ***

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Slow to React (3), Jump (2), Rockers (2)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 14

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies are Ticklish
REQUIREMENT: Earn at least 500 points by getting the bunny to
repeat the dance.
DIFFICULTY: *
+ The requirement is WAY TOO EASY so I highly doubt you'll
have trouble here unless you're REALLY bad at memorization.

Bunnies Don’t Use Toothpaste, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Keep the worms off for 1’00”00.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ Just bad breath that may break your concentration. Otherwise,
it should be fairly easy for you. Remember, each tooth can only
sustain up to two hits - the game will end once a tooth has
exploded. (Poor guy...)

Bunnies Can’t Fly, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Launch Super-Bunny at least 200.00 meters.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Press A at the height of Super-Bunny's jump. But remember the
Same trick may not work for the 1000-points in Score Mode.
+ Fairly easy. Just get a good start.

Bunnies are Raving Mad, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.
DIFFICULTY: ****

-----------------

EASIEST THREE: Ticklish, Toothpaste (2), Fly (2)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

DAY 15

Today’s Trials:
Bunnies Only Fly Downwards
REQUIREMENT: Pass through all the rings in less than 1'40"00.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Instant failure if you hit a wall.
+ 5 seconds will add as a penalty for each ring you miss.
+ Stand up for this one. You'll need to control the Wii Remote
properly. It may take two tries to get used to the game.

Bunnies Have Natural Rhythm, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Get rid of the bunnies in less than 1'00"00.
DIFFICULTY: **
+ Just worry about losing lives. Otherwise, you should be fine.

Bunnies Like to Stuff Themselves, Part 2
REQUIREMENT: Get them as fat as possible for 300 points.
DIFFICULTY: ***
+ Added feature this time around is that the outline will flash
every second or two making it harder for you. Just don't make
huge mistakes and get points on each food items and you should
make this one as well.

Bunnies are Fantastic Dancers, Part 3
REQUIREMENT: Keep in time during the whole song to reach
a score of 750.

EASIEST THREE: Fly Downwards, Rhythm (2), Fantastic (3)

And you’re done the storyline! Head on over to the cell and
watch the final cinematic and watch Rayman’s “daring” escape...

Go back and try to complete all the games you missed to aim for
100% completion! Use the Toilet in your cell to enter Replay
Mode and try successfully completing all the trials.

Now, you can participate in all your favourite mini-games in a
special mode, Score Mode, where this game TRULY shines. Story
Mode was only a preparation for and is nothing in comparison
to the ever-extensive, ever-engaging Score Mode.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7. Score Mode
(7a) Score Breakdown
There is a total of 183000 points that can be earned in Score Mode,
so you would think, anyway. But because of multiple scoring
glitches in some of the mini-games, those who own the Wii Version
of the game will be unable to earn all 183,000 points. In the next
version, I will add the list of all games subject to these glitches
I am referring to.
Regardless, each mini-game can offer you up to 1000 points whereas
Challenges can earn you a maximum of 3000, 5000 or even 10000
points. You’ll need to be REALLY SKILLED to earn all 1000 points
for some of the mini-games. I can’t even think of someone even
going for 1000 points ON ALL GAMES as this would be a HUGE
undertaking. I sound like that guy who was interviewed by
GameTrailers for Super Paper Mario, when he claimed that to beat
SPM would require a huge undertaking – yeah right… Anyway, I
digress. This game has loads of replay value! Don’t underestimate
this game.
Maximum earnable points are broken down this way:
Bunny Hunts: Total of 50,000 Points!
- Single-Player (Round): 30,000
- Co-Op (Multi): 20,000
+ I only recently determined that there are points that can be
earned for co-operative bunny hunts after trying to calculate the
maximum number of points that can be earned for each category of
mini-games.
+ Co-Op Bunny Hunts don’t feature stages on Survival.
Sports Games: Total of 50,000 Points
- Workout: 15,000
- Precision: 15,000
- Get Going: 5,000
- Skill: 15,000
Challenges: Total of 68,000 Points!
+ Mode becomes unlocked after obtaining a certain number of points.
- Animal Farm: 3,000
- Bunnies Psychology, Volume 1: 3,000
- Bunnies Psychology, Volume 2: 3,000
- Bunnies Psychology, Volume 3: 3,000
- The Dark Side: 3,000
- Extreme Experiences: 3,000
- The Jogging Pants-tathlon: 5,000
- Pain-tathlon: 5,000
- The Pants-tathlon in socks: 5,000
- The Pants-tathlon tracksuit: 5,000
- Bunny Fair: 10,000
- Rayman: 10,000
- World Eclectism Championship: 10,000
+ THIS CHALLENGE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO UNLOCK DUE TO SCORING GLITCHES.
Dancing Games: Total of 15,000 Points
TOTAL: 183,000 POINTS
You’ll need all the help you can get in order to achieve a high
number of total points. Requisition the help of your friends
who may have faster reflexes than you or who are good at
button-mashing games - they would be good for some of the
Workout mini-games.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
(7b) Mastering the Games
You’ll really need to practice A LOT for most of the games before
you can even think of earning the full 1000 points for them.
The dancing games will certainly pose a challenge for you as to
get full 1000 points, you’ll need to get a PERFECT SCORE. What
that entails, though, is that you get White spotlights on the
bunnies for the ENTIRE SONG. In other words, if you see a Yellow
spotlight (or red if you’re not that good) then that’s a sign
to you that you won’t be getting 1000 points on this run. But,
unless your score is really close (like mine was for La Bamba),
you should always stick with the song cause you never know if
you’ll improve your record. The hardest of these challenges is
the ever-so challenging “Bunnies are Raving Mad” (Part 2). If
you are able to get a PERFECT SCORE here, you should have little
trouble pulling it off for the others (except La Bamba cause
that one is an exception for a lot of people for some reason.)
Some of the Bunny Hunts are quite easy to get 1000 points on as
I have been able to go way over the requirement on many of them,
or maybe that’s just my personal skill, I dunno. Certainly,
though, expect to try “Bunnies Sometimes Recycle the Scenery
from Other Games” multiple times for the Score and Time runs.
By then, Survival should be a little easier for you.
For the warthog races, you’ll really need to take advantage of
any shortcuts in the stage and you’ll need to know when to use the
Speed Boosts and when to wade it out normally. Expect to try these
MANY times before perfecting them - I got 1000 on the Beach one by
like about 20 milliseconds.
For the Workout games, I would recommend that you do a maximum
of three to four a day/in one period of play as your hands will be
very exhausted, I can guarantee it. Bunnies are Addicted to Carrot
Juice will certainly drain you out so if you have a lot of energy
And want to do a Workout game, I suggest you do this one FIRST
Before you do any others. Same goes for Bunnies Don’t Milk Cows,
Bunnies are Over-Sensitive, and Bunnies Can’t Fly.
Other tips can be seen below but overall, it is clear that multiple
attempts will be needed for many games. Expect to spend A LOT of
time perfecting some of the dancing games and remember that some
have glitches that prevent you from earning the full 1000 points!
For example, I spent like 50-or-so odd tries at the perfect score
for La Bamba and the best possible score is 2348 and the 1000-point
requirement is 2358!! Stupid glitch… >_<)
Practice really DOES make perfect in this mode so be sure to be
prepared to get frustrated over some failed attempts.
For the remaining sections where Mini-Games will be considered,
the following format will be used for the sports games.
(7c) BUNNY HUNTS
An on-rails, FPS mode that stands out from a lot of the mini-games
In the collection.
Rayman aims to travel towards the end of the stage, sometimes
Having to encounter one or more bosses, with goals of saving Baby
Globox who has been taken captive by the psychotic bunnies.
Fire a plunger by aiming with the Wii Remote from your shooter
by pressing the B Button. The plunger guns can only wield up to 5
plungers at one points before you must Reload. To do this, flick
the Nunchuk downwards.
You are also given control of a grappling hook that allows you to
interact with environments and the bunnies. To release it, press
the Z Button on the Nunchuk peripheral. With it, you can deflect
shots from the bunnies as well as holding the bunnies in your grasp
to use as ammunition or as a shield from attacks. When a bunny is
fired at a (group of) bunnies, you will earn a ‘MULTIPLE’ bonus
that will account for points at the end of the match.
Some stages also feature various environmental items that influence
gameplay slightly. More specifically, they are items that, once
activated, will immobilize all bunnies in the area temporarily as
they become distracted by the music from these items. Most common
ones are a Green Boom Box (found in the Holiday, Struck Gold
and Tunnel stages), a Record Player (found in the Rest in Peace
stage) and a bell (in the Wild West stage).
Each stage (10 in total) has 5 different modes of play to add
variety to the game (meaning you can earn up to 50,000 from the
Bunny Hunt games).
SCORE TRIAL is the normal mode, unlocked at the start. This mode
has the player going through stages in attempts of earning the best
score possible. Combos are key if you are aiming for the 1000-point
requirement. After the 3rd plunger, you’ll earn a “Good” bonus. The
4th plunger earns you a “Great” bonus and the 5th plunger, if you
use them all to hit bunnies, you’ll earn a “Perfect” bonus. Note,
that these bonuses only count if you hit the bunnies. If you miss,
then you’ll lose a bonus or all three, depending on how many you
miss. Note, too, that bunnies that require multiple hits aren’t
subject to this bonus-scoring system. If they require 3 hits, then
you’ll only earn a Good even if you used the two other remaining
plungers to damage its health. It’s somewhat complicated but once
you start playing, you’ll pick it up easy.
Obviously, then, don’t reload until you’ve completely finished ALL
YOUR PLUNGERS to be sure you don’t miss a bonus.
Other bonuses that will award you points at the end of a round
include a MULTIPLE bonus which happens whenever you grab a bunny
and use it to smack into one or more bunnies, or, whenever you use
explosive objects in the environment (like Gas Crates, and Bombs)
to damage bunnies near it. Another bonus is your SUCCESS RATE,
which is, ultimately, your Accuracy. The higher your %, the
more points you’ll earn as a bonus. Also, the more unnecessary
reloads you perform, your score will reflect as such. Your accuracy
rate will have either a white fill (could be better), a yellow fill
(getting there), or a green fill (excellent work). Two other key
bonuses are the HEADSHOT and BULLSEYE bonuses. The first is
exactly as it sounds – hitting a bunny (works better with the big,
grey bunnies) on its head will result in this added bonus at the
end. The latter is when you accurately target and effectively shoot
a rabbit from a far distance. Example of this is during the Holiday
stage, if you hit the bunnies as they are coming out from the sub
from where you are. There’s also INTERCEPTION, but I don’t know
if that earns points and how that’s earned (maybe when you counter
enemy attacks; I got 16 on Night/Survival). There’s also RELOAD
which does as it sounds, it lists the number of times you’ve had
to reload. I don’t know if this affects your score in any way
either.
The statements at the top of the results screen help you gauge how
Close/far you are away from the 1000-point requirement. The best
Ranking, I believe is, “The best player in the universe, including
my pal Mike”. Second best is, “The best player in the universe.”
There are other rankings that you may see depending on your
Performance. These statements remind me of Blinx 2 and the Credit
Games for Monkey Ball 2 and Banana Blitz.
Another key tip is to never waste a plunger on the missiles from
the bosses/mini-bosses. Just use the grappling hook.
Be sure to keep ALL this in mind when going for good scores!
TIME TRIAL is a secondary mode, unlocked after stats have been made
in all the stages in Score Trial. As the name suggests, this stage
has the player going through each stage as fast as they possibly
can. There are no “scores” and there are times recorded at the end
that determine your performance in relation to the 1000-point
requirement. You really need to know the levels and go really fast
to earn the 1000-points. Also, note that combos won’t matter here
so reload as often as you want and fire as much as you want as it
won’t count against you in the end – if anything, it’ll HELP you.
One of the tips you may see at the end of the match is the one that
says that shooting large saucers saves a lot of time. This is
applicable for this mode. Not to be confused with the small yellow
saucers whereby bunnies shoot carrot juice at you, large saucers
are black saucers that come from the sky and drop off the elusive
Splinter-Cell-like bunnies. Destroying the saucer ahead of time
before it lets any bunnies down to the area (or just letting it
drop one off) really saves a lot of time since pinning them down
does waste a lot of precious time.
Also, y’know how for Scores I said not to waste plungers on the
boss missiles. In this mode, it’s a VERY VALUABLE TECHNIQUE! You
can hit the missiles when they’re right next to the boss and this
saves a LOT of time rather than having the missiles go around in
circles before they come to you. But be careful to be on the ball
otherwise you may run out of plungers (after firing like crazy to
hit the missile ahead of time) and you may be caught off guard to
use the Grappling Hook and if the missile hits you, then the exact
same missile will fire again, wasting quite a bit of time.
SURVIVAL TRIAL is the final unlockable mode, unlocked after stats
have been made in all stages in Time Trial. This mode has Rayman
playing each of the stages as normal, except with only ONE LIFE.
you’ll really be challenged in some of the later levels to survive
the onslaught of the bunnies. The scoring in this particular “mode”
is different than that of the SCORE TRIAL. Bonuses at the end will
not account towards your score. You will only earn 500 extra points
for reaching the stage with your one life remaining. This means
that you really need to get combos and making sure to get all the
bunnies in each of the stages to earn a score that will award you
with the 1000-point total.
CO-OP TRIAL is another special mode that can only be accessed once
two Wii-Remotes have been connected. As the name suggests, two
players play co-operatively to eradicate the bunnies, sharing the
same life counter, and the same scores. I was surprised to learn
that this mode accounts for points to the total “183,000”. It was
even more surprising to find out that there are a total of 20,000
points awarded for the Co-Op trials! Co-op trials consist of Score
and Time trials across all the 10 stages in the mode. Survival is
not present in this mode. Enjoy playing with your friend (as I’ve
never had the opportunity to try this feature)!
It bears being repeated that ONLY TWO Wii Remotes are required to
play this multiplayer mode. Only one Nunchuk can be used by one
player to reload the plunger supply for both players.
POWER-UPS and OTHER BONUSES
There are a couple of power-ups and/or upgrades that can be found
in select stages for almost all modes. The complete list can be
found below:
* Plunger Upgrade: Allows you to fire 5 plungers at once. Take
advantage of this – especially for large groups,
big bunnies and/or large flying saucers.
* Rapid-Fire Upgrade: Allows you to fire multiple plungers in a row
by holding the B Button. Only lasts for a
while and reloading is disabled temporarily.
* Question Mark: Could be either upgrade.
* Heart: Adds lives to your counter in varying amounts. (Not
available in Survival Mode.)
* Broken: Your shotgun will become “broken” and will only travel a
very short radius. Luckily, this doesn’t last very long.
It’s in a crate with a red logo so it’s very noticeable.
Without further adieu, let’s go more in-depth with each of the
respective stages as I list tips for each one that will help you on
your quest to earning the total of 50,000 points here.
+ The scientist bunny (the one with the bandages) is hidden behind
the grave off to the far right following the area where you’d
Bunnies Don't Like Being Disturbed on Holiday - Scores
DIFFICULTY: ****
MY ADVICE:
+ At the start use the grappling hook to take down the umbrella,
then fire the plunger at the 400-point bunny. There is another one
on your left, also behind an umbrella but take it out at the right
angle so you don’t have to destroy the umbrella, wasting plungers
(since the grappling hook can’t reach). Then hit the bunnies that
come out from behind the rock and trees.
+ Try aiming for the bunnies once they pop out of the submarine at
the last edge of the stage as you’ll earn a Bullseye bonus for
doing so. If you’re not good at long-distance aiming though, I’d
recommend saving your shots for when they come near the boat close
to you – so that you don’t needlessly waste a perfectly good combo.
the end.
Bunnies Don't Like Being Disturbed at Night - Times
GOAL: Clear the stage in 6’35”00 or less.
DIFFICULTY: *****
MY ADVICE:
+ You’ll need to really watch those pogo-stick bunnies carefully
and hit them as early as possible.
+ Don’t waste your time with the grappling hook on the armoured
bunnies. Just fire at them from afar.
+ Be sure to fire your plungers at the pirate ship’s missiles as
early as possible to save time. Fire like crazy if you must as
wasted shots don’t count against you in the end.
Bunnies Don't Like Being Disturbed at Night - Survival
GOAL: Earn 30,000 points.
DIFFICULTY: *****
MY ADVICE:
+ Carefully when facing the mini-boss after the second hit as both
bunnies on pogo sticks and a bunny with a plunger gun will come.
+ Be sure to hit the Green Boom Box during the last leg of the
stage where there are a lot of plunger-carrying bunnies. It would
be a shame if you lost here (I did once and got upset).
+ Follow the missiles from the pirate ship carefully so as not to
launch the grappling hook TOO early to cause you to fail at such
a crucial part of the game.
^^^^^^WORKOUT^^^^^^
Bunnies are Addicted to Carrot Juice
OBJECTIVE: Fend off the bunnies for as long as possible.
GOAL: Survive for at least 2’15”00.
FUN FACTOR: ****
DIFFICULTY: *****
PROBLEMS: None
MY ADVICE:
+ The bunnies stop moving while you fill their masks so take this
into account as you encounter many more bunnies.
+ Many have mentioned in many places that playing this game with
a friend (preferably one who is good at games like this one) may
help – one person shakes the Remote whilst the other aims.
MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT: Unknown
Bunnies Don't Give Gifts
OBJECTIVE: Deliver the package to the bunny before it explodes!
GOAL: Reach the bunny with at least 22”00 remaining on the timer.
FUN FACTOR: ****
DIFFICULTY: **
PROBLEMS: None
MY ADVICE:
+ Keep a steady pace and you should get this one, with little
trouble.
MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT: Unknown
Bunnies Like Surprises
OBJECTIVE: Lead the bunny towards injury-inducing objects.
GOAL: Earn 75,000 points.
FUN FACTOR: ***
DIFFICULTY: ****
PROBLEMS: None
MY ADVICE:
+ Remember that at the end 50,000 will be added to your score cause
of the 50,000-ton weight (ouch!!). So technically, you only have
to get a score of 25,000 but that’s still easier said than done.
+ Each object scores differently:
- Cacti: 50
- Rakes: 20
- Electric Box: 200
- Fire: 100
- Man/Bunny Trap: 500
Each object also differs in terms of quantity:
- Cacti: Only 9
- Rakes: 15-20
- Electric Box: Only about 3
- Fire: Only about 5
- Man/Bunny Trap: About 3.
+ Use the wooden fences to help you get to places faster.
+ This game features a multiplier, like some of the other games. To
earn it, you’ll need to hit the same item consecutively. The
first time you hit the item (after having gotten one before), you
will receive the x2 multiplier. Then the x4, x8, x16, x32, x84
and x168. The x164 multiplier is key for the 1000-points but it
can be hard to obtain. There are a lot of rakes but the pay-off
for them isn’t that big to make the 1000-point. And for others,
the pay-off is big but there’s not enough of that item to sustain
enough points for the 1000-points.
+ Watch the shadow in the middle. When it starts to grow, you’re
almost out of time.
+ The cacti are key FTW here. There are JUST enough for you to get
25,550 points (only 9):
1st Cacti: 50 points (0 + 50)
2nd Cacti: 150 points (50 x 2 + 50)
3rd Cacti: 350 points (50 x 4 + 150)
4th Cacti: 750 points (50 x 8 + 350)
5th Cacti: 1,550 points (50 x 16 + 750)
6th Cacti: 3,150 points (50 x 32 + 1,550)
7th Cacti: 6,350 points (50 x 64 + 3,150)
8th Cacti: 12,750 points (50 x 128 + 6,350)
9th Cacti: 25,550 points (50 x 256 + 12,750) = 75,550 points!
If you go the right route, there will be enough time for you to
possibly squeeze in two more items. Where I followed, there was an
Electric Box right beside me when I got the last cacti. Next update
you may see the BEST ROUTE to earning the full 1000 points.
What, though, if you went for the rakes? Could you earn more than
Going after the Cacti? Let’s see!
1st Rake: 20 points (0 + 20)
2nd Rake: 60 points (20 x 2 + 20)
3rd Rake: 140 points (20 X 4 + 60)
4th Rake: 300 points (20 X 8 + 140)
5th Rake: 620 points (20 x 16 + 300)
6th Rake: 1,260 points (20 x 32 + 620)
7th Rake: 2,540 points (20 X 64 + 1,260)
8th Rake: 5,100 points (20 X 128 + 2,540)
9th Rake: 10,220 points (20 X 256 + 5,100)
10th Rake: 20,460 points (20 X 512 + 10,220) = 70,460 points
I never made it this far but that would mean the 11th Rake would
grant you the 1000-points as well:
11th Rake: 40,940 points (20 X 1,024 + 20,460) = 90,940 points!
Cacti OR Rakes FTW! Cacti are better, though, since they are more
noticeable than the Rakes and they require less time and effort
than do the dispersed rakes.
Bunnies Can't Fly
OBJECTIVE: Launch Super-Bunny as far as possible.
GOAL: Launch Super-Bunny at least 170 meters.
FUN FACTOR: ***
DIFFICULTY: *****
PROBLEMS: None
MY ADVICE:
+ Get the rocket (the indicator that lets you know how fast you’re
going) to get into the red and have a yellow tail at the end of
it and you’ll reach the 1000-point requirement (or JUST miss it).
MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT: Unknown
Bunnies Can't Fly Part 2
OBJECTIVE: Use Super-Bunny’s rocket belt to launch him even
farther!
GOAL: Launch Super-Bunny at least 270 meters.
FUN FACTOR: ****
DIFFICULTY: ****
PROBLEMS: None
MY ADVICE:
+ Where you detonate the explosive is key to you scoring a far
distance for the 1000-point requirement. Rather than detonating
it at the height of his jump, launch him when he is pretty much
flying in the middle of the sky (between the ground and the
height of the buildings in the background).
Bunnies Have Natural Rhythm
OBJECTIVE: Eliminate the bunnies using the radios to stun them.
GOAL: Eliminate all the bunnies in 0’21”00 or less.
FUN FACTOR: **
DIFFICULTY: *****
PROBLEMS: None
MY ADVICE:
+ Don’t stay too close to the bunnies or they’ll attack you. You
only have 3 lives before you fail the game.
+ Try to get the bunnies closely together before you turn the radio
on, although that’s easier said than done as it’s somewhat luck-
based. You can, however, knock the bunnies that aren’t subject to
the radios and possibly knock them near similar-coloured bunnies.
MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT: Unknown
Bunnies Have Natural Rhythm Part 2
OBJECTIVE: Eliminate the bunnies but watch out for Serguei!
GOAL: Eliminate all the bunnies in 0’22”00 or less.
FUN FACTOR: **
DIFFICULTY: *****
PROBLEMS: None
MY ADVICE:
+ Same advice as the one before except watch out for the big guy.
Also, I believe that if he knocks a bunny while he’s stunned, it
won’t count!
MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT: Unknown
Bunnies are Bad at Peek-A-Boo
OBJECTIVE: Make it past the guard without him seeing you.
GOAL: Reach the goal in 0’39”50 or less.
FUN FACTOR: ****
DIFFICULTY: ****
PROBLEMS: None
MY ADVICE:
+ If you point your hand outside the circle, you’ll fail the game!
+ The game is a little lenient with the first two rounds for the
Circle but at the 3rd time he’s about to turn around, it won’t be
as forgiving – you’ll need to be in the circle as soon as he
lands from jumping.
+ If you sneak any steps BEFORE the guard has his back turned
completely, you’ll fail the game.
+ To get the 1000-points, you’ll need to make the goal on the 4th
round, not stopping for Serguei as he turns around that time. You
SHOULD just make it (the goal, not necessarily the 1000-point
Time), or you’ll JUST miss it and you’ll fail an inch from the
goal. If you’re playing with friends, it may not be as wise to
risk it unless you’re going at maximum speed and you’re confident
you’ll make it before he catches you.
MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT: Up to 4 Simultaneous! Single-Screen
+ Wii Remote AND Nunchuks required for each additional player.
Bunnies Don't Milk Cows
OBJECTIVE: Fill the buckets with cow milk as fast as you can.
GOAL: Fill three buckets in 0’07”19 or less.
FUN FACTOR: **
DIFFICULTY: ****
PROBLEMS: None
MY ADVICE:
+ Although I haven’t gotten this one yet (so close!!), just keep
practicing and you’ll get it. I suggest you do this as the first
game you play if you’re aiming for 1000 points on the games (m
