Well, this is probably often talked about, but i miss rare extremely.

I mean the sad fact they no longer develop for nintendo home consoles really sucks.
Yes they create games for the DS and Gameboy series, but it sucks they can no longer create games for the Wii, or the gamecube, in which i was looking forward to future releases.

However, it is also true, since rare left they've not been releasing as many good games, well until recently, they released kameo, and viva pinata, also there is a upcomming unanounced game comming sometime this year from rare, although it's susposedly not banjo sadly =[.

I was reading some info up on rare and they actually sold themself to microsoft it would seem, and sadly, nintendo sold there share, which is a major shame, then again i'm betting even if nintendo tried to buy rare back, microsoft wouldn't let them since it's a well known fact they have developed alot of amazing games.

Yep, I discussed this a bit in detail in another topic. I really hope they add the titles to the VC. It's clear that MANY people want them up, and I'm still ticked MS got the rights to Rare if it means getting it to the VC will be hard.

But I'm trying to be hopeful.

Well, i donno what would happen, if microsoft don't want nintendo to have it, it's how it goes, it'll be more likely that microsoft release it for the XBLA since they haven't had any decent releases in a while, thats if they are allowed, since they were originally published by nintendo, i really don't quite fully get how it works...

I'm not a fan of Banjo, but I LOVE Conker. I want to see him again.

I was waiting for someone to make mention of Conker. I'm not a fan of Conker at all. It's games like CBFD that testify to society's degradation... but I may be looking into things too much. Heh.

I've never played Conker, but i always wanted to try it since it seems very interesting to be honest. And your not a fan of banjo? the game style isn't to your liking?

Rare is in Microsoft land, that's where.

The title was actually a pun, Rareware, Rare Where. but anyway, i know, it sucks but i still want them to return somehow, maybe, actually not, then it means rare make Wii titles and i prefer normal controllers.

I'm still in a bit of an angry state since Microsoft's acquisiton of Rare... but, recently, it has been said that after confronting MS and Ninty and Rare and such... what it boils down to is that Big N has quite a big say in having Rare games appear on the VC, last I heard... I'll keep you posted.
