Here's some tips I have based on my photographic memory of our match...
* You're shooting with the wrong character. You'll rarely get it in if you use a character like Toad, especially from further away from the net. When you used Bowser as your shooter, THAT was a great move and you will, guaranteed, get more goals that way.

* Try not to be so predictable and passing to the same characters all the time. I knew where you were going to pass to many times and you don't want that when facing someone on Wi-Fi. Mix it up a bit more.

* If you're having trouble with offense, defense is key as well. Focus on gathering items as well. Those can be a big help at times.

* Charge the ball in a consistent manner. Don't just pass to the same characters or you'll get it intercepted. Also, rapid passing doesn't always work as it gets intercepted a lot, again, it's quite predictable. You can charge even by holding the B Button and then passing to another character. That'll get the ball to White Energy a lot quicker.
