Well, one of my friends has a mod chip. I tell him he is SERIOUSLY a cheap person.

I can't afford to buy games often like other people.. times are hard.

I keep beating myself up trying to resist getting a mod chip because it's not "right". I'm sticking by my morals.

I don't want one either, but at the same time I want one.

Uhm, modding is installing a modchip so you can play burned games. And partly remove region locks. <.<

And yep, I got one. Which doesn't stop me from buying games which deserve to be bought, like Galaxy, Metriod 3 or Brawl.

Oh, and mew22, you're flat out lying. There's no modchip or anything else that ONLY removes region locks, it will ALWAYS allow you to play copies too.

@mew22: Uhm, I just stated that it's impossible to mod a Wii to ONLY remove region locks.

@KS8: Hard drives are impossible on the Wii as of now, sadly. The only thing you can do with modchips is run copied Wii/GC games, many (but not all) out-of-region Wii games and GC-homebrew, all off a disc.

Normal DVD-Rs, nothing special.

Quite a few, but I got originals of all the great games that I liked, except for Super Paper Mario, cause I couldn't wait for the EU-release date; I still need to get a original copy of that. <__<
