Yeah, I knew about Mirror Mode before.
And the Wii Wheel sounds like it won't be that great for beginners after all if they have to get used to all these new gameplay quirks..

[Speaking about online Battle] "…it’s only possible to play in red vs. blue team games; there’s no free-for-all, which to our mind runs contrary to the true spirit of Battle Mode, that of the gleefully ruthless fracas. We were also bitterly disappointed to discover that you can’t race through whole GP championships in multiplayer."

I would've preferred Yoshi Valley but then again, with 12 racers, it'd take a lot of re-doing I guess knowing how narrow it would be. But that would be great.
