does anyone know if its coming or when its coming. also ive never played this game...can you tell me how it compares to other MK games and other stuff like that?

Oh, it's coming. We just don't know when. I for one, won't purchase it though.
I imagine they'll release it in March/April before MKWii, just like we hope will happen with smash Bros. 64 and what's already happened with games like Metroid, all to prepare for the Wii iteration's release.

seeing as i have mario kart 64, would buying mario kart snes appear as a downgrade and appear unappealing?

It would, imo but if you liked the SNES Version it has a lot of nostalgic value and it may be worth a look.

If you've never played it before, it would seem unappealing, especially if you've played MK64 and Double Dash.

I played it at my friend's a couple months ago and I didn't like it all.. You may have a different reaction but if you've never played it before, I wouldn't suggest you waste the points unless you're a huge MK fan and even then, I'd still caution you.

before buying id probably watch a game of it in action.

koolguy the multiplayer is very basic 1v1 however in my opinion its very good
