RE: Magnetica
I guess. And to be honest, even though it's a first-party title, I still think 1,000 is too much, especially with no Wi-Fi support (unless they plan to add it).

RE: Magnetica
i already own this game on DS and its pretty good. if you have it on the DS(like me) dont buy it. if u dont, its a good investment. espically if its as deep as the DS one which was $40

RE: Magnetica
Oh yeah? Based on your experience w/ the DS one, do you think its worth 1k Points? Is the multiplayer as fun as it sounds?

RE: Magnetica
it depends how deep it goes. the DS one had 50 or so.....missions(ill call them). they increased by length, had more balls to eliminate, and/or more launchers. thi gave the game plenty of replay value. if this is in the game, it might MIGHT be worth 1000 points(because the DS one was $40 and this is $10. do the math). if it doesnt, dont even give it a second thought.

RE: Magnetica
Aww, yeah, we get a hands-on preview.
http://wii.ign.com/articles/868/868721p1.html
Some interesting tidbits:
To rotate the marble shooter, you twist the remote left or right. Firing a marble is a simple matter of hitting the A button. There's an unofficial secondary control scheme using the Wii Remote: hold the controller in its Classic NES pad configuration and "roll" it forward and backwards, with the 2 button being the "fire marble" control. The motion control works well and allows for precise movement for as long as your wrist is steady – the marble shooter will jitter a bit if you don't hold the remote still, and the game will get confused if you twist or roll too quickly. A smooth, steady pace is all that's needed, and as long as that's what you're doing the game plays fine.
Though the WiiWare version of Puzzloop doesn't support online for multiplayer, the game does feature same-screen cooperative and competitive multiplayer where two or more players work on the same ball chain in their own marble shooters. Players can't shoot their marbles through the other players, but they can take advantage of a new mechanic for Puzzloop: the ability to lob their marble into the air by holding down the fire button. When the fire button is held, a targeting reticule slowly moves in the direction of the player's aiming mark. Releasing the button will send the marble floating in a lazy arc.
The game apparently keeps extensive statistics on your playing skill, but due to a language barrier its difficult to understand what it is the game's displaying on the grid.
Hmm, interesting.. But 1,000? C'mon Nintendo. You know as much as we go that that's too much to ask, especially with no Wi-Fi..

RE: Magnetica
Don't forget, it's not just nintendo... wiiware was enabled to help developers get onto the platform, and help to earn them money too... so in essence the price is also determined by how much the developer wants to make aswell as nintendo
