They probably have reasons for it. Maybe they are planning something else...

but of you already hav one... it would help. and if you hav 80 gb on your iPod(like me) then this would be the update for me

they should have a hard drive or the ability to read off the sd card with me close to 50 vc games and no sign of me stopping i need more room and even when i delete games i don't use anymore, i still have less then 500 blocks left, they need to do something soon.

another idea to aviod people copying games to other people is a hard drive that formats itself. it could reconized your wii number (or something like that) and if you connect it to another wii it will ask if you want to re-format and delete all other data on it. then we have a hard drive and people cant copy vc games and give them to people.

It's not a concern for me yet, but it definitely needs support for an external hard drive. In addition to having more space for storing VC games, such a development could lead to extra content and patches for games. I was hoping they would start implementing a hard drive before SSBB, as it would have likely lead to more characters being available in the future, but that didn't happen. Oh well, maybe next time...

I know, I was more talking about such features being used for other games in general.

and besides Auriman1, all the data concerning characters and stuff is stored on the disc itself, not the internal hard drive.

Yeah, but downloadable content would be stored in the consoles memory as the Wii can't rewrite discs.
