Does the Pokemon series need a more creative formula for future titles?
Or are you fine with the continued "rehashes", if you will?

Nah, all the Pokémon series needs is a better developer for the Console games. GameFreak should do them again, the N64 Stadium games were really awesome especially when comparing them to Colosseum/XD/PBR.
For the main series, no, I don't think a major overhaul is needed. Actually I'm hoping they're gonna remake Gold/Silver. <.<

The Formula we used for the pokemon games is what made them great 
Out of all the pokemon games I like Gold and Silver the best

I think that DX's storyline was pretty good. I do agree that they should make a remake of Gold/Silver and add some Ruby and Saphire pokemon?

As a kid, I enjoyed Pokemon Stadium as well. Same goes for Snap. Gold and Yellow were good. I remember that when I used to enjoy Pokemon.
