Not really, flash drives are small compact, i believe it's what apples notebook [laptop] uses because it can have quite a high memory despite it's extremely small size.
But i'm sure nintendo will think of something eventually to help the memory problems.

You replied just for that >.> lol.
I just realised, the add-ons will take memory aswell, so nintendo must be thinking of something, if they aren't then they suck.

They have to. Especially with WiiWare, more memory is practically a must with games like FFCC using DLC and other games as well.. I don't see why it's taking them so long. xD
And yeah mew, I got it. Heh.

What about SBCG4AP. [Strong Bads Cool Game For Attractive People] I mean, they are apparently releasing new episodes to the game each month, if they are free, or cost points, either way it'll cost a bit of memory i'm guessing.

Nintendo's way of thinking right now is if you run out of free space you can delete other things you don't use often, since you can re-download in again at anytime.
I think we will see a wii 2 before a wii hard drive, unless they add support for regular external hard drives like PS3 and 360, which is very easy for them to implement btw
(Homebrew on wii almost has external hardrive support)

Oh I don't "forget it" but it's just not convenient, like, at ALL to be having stuff for your Wii on an SD Card. Especially considering how small it is (see: easy to lose) and yeah, Sous, their thinking is just so... well, I won't get into it but rather than satisfying our needs, they'll just release a new model. I hope that's not the case but I can see it happening, much to my frustration.
