I certainly do. If people want M-Rated violent games, they wouldnt come to the Wii unless for Brawl.

Sure they could try appealing to everyone but they need to draw the line. I saw a graph last week and it showed how little M-Rated games there are. I think it was less than 10%.

Thoughts?

This topic is a bit silly, M rated games, now you really are condemming the Wii/Nintendo to only have and produce kids games, yet nintendo strive hard to show it isn't a kid console.

Sheessh!

M Rated games, if they are good i don't give a toss.

Also brought up the point that it will get "older people" to play it. And that may be a start because they may have, as I said in the other topic, inhabitions concerning the Wii and its games and with M-Rated titles, I guess it could bring in a new demographic possibly that would branch through to exisitng games but tbh, they should stick with their current demographic rather than continue to flesh it out too much.

They already attracted older gamers with the WII'S SYSTEM, more M-Rated games will just do what the console was intentially trying to wipe off of their nametag, Kiddies Console?

You know what, you're right.

That's a HUGE misconception that the console is "just for kids" and anyone who plays it has no sense of taste. Having M-Rated titles helps distort these misconceptions, for sure, but it also makes us question where they'll draw the line.

How so? it shows tehy are willing to play all types of games, which means more games for us, it's not like the Wii is hosting games of the likes of leisure suit larry.

Good point. At least they're not sexually explicit games, but just (sometimes) gruesomely-violent games so I guess it could be worse. I guess I could've thought about it that way too but still...
