Everyone thinks differently, you open your mind different to me, not like you can help not seeing it through someone else, don't they say, your eyes are only really open when you are looking through someone elses.

Besides, i heard there was a game that is comming out sometime soon that will contain porography, or explict content, i can't remember it's name but i'm sure it said it may actually be on the Wii.

I honestly think it's all up to the game developers. Sure the Wii is meant for a younger audience in general, but it's also up to the parents to keep their kids from playing M rated games if they don't want them to. The game developers shouldn't be restricted because parents can't restrict their kids.

Heh, I think maybe he means that he likes that there's a selection of M-Rated games despite it being, mostly, a family-oriented console, ebcause it shows that they're targeting smaller demographics in the Wii market also..

But I may be stretching it, I dunno. xD

For me, it's a mixed bag.

On the one hand, they're appealing to another smaller audience.
But on the other hand, they're going against their own position, which is probably more important: That of the Wii being a family-friendly console.

That being said:
* People think the Wii is too "kiddy" so by having M-Rated games, it removes those inhabitions about it.
* They may be isolating people if they don't, and people will be less receptive to try the Wii.

As I said, it's debatable.

Heh. I think that rather than trying to degrad multiple stereotypes, simply focus on ONE, and I think that focusing on the latter, of it being a family-oriented console and having them isolate Mature/trigger-happy (excuse the term) audiences then it's for the benefit of the company and it doesn';t contradict what they've been marketing the console as. Sure people will always have theiir skepticisms about the Wii being kiddy but that their loss. Once they try it, depending on what games they try (i.e., having them try quality games, not shoddy third-party ports), they may find that the Wii is in fact the opposite and is a wholly enjoyable console, just as I view it. Then agian, some are too stubborn to let go of their inhabitions about somethin (especially when it comes to the Wii) that their first impressions won't change and, again, that's their loss.
