OMG This is so hard to decide. MP5-8 were all amazing (except for the crap boards in 6 and 7) wiht great graphics and SOME good minigames these really stood out. For MP4 it was definatly a breakthrough. Seeing the transformation from the N64 to GC ecpecially when its like this its amazing. MP4 comes in at number 2 for me. N64 showed great promise from the word go. And when Mario Party was released they flew way over the finishing line. Geneuis minigames. Only wished they had them in our day Mario Partys. Mario Party 2 was a bit of an upset for me. The mini games didnt grab me, except for the mario Circuit 3 . And then MP3 showed real acheivemt and disapointment. I have never seen a game go as bad as grahics like this. Seeing number 1 and 2 then this i was shattered. the graphics were horrible. sure they were great boards and great minigames but that killed it for me. Mario Party Advance was Shit, ill leave it there. Mario Party DS has shown what the mario party is goning to be in the future. AMAZING, minigames, great, boards (even though very small) GREAT, a real breakthrough. So heres My Ranking of my top 5.

Mario Party Advance is by far the best. The Gadgets rocked, Story Mode was sweet, and the minigames too. I only hated the multiplayer, but still, a great buy.

Wow... You're clearly not a big MP fan, are you? Everyone has their own opinion of course but I just have a hard time (REALLY hard) seeing it as "the best" personally.

Agreed. But the thing is, MPA isn't that bad. It's just not good. The town-missions formula seemed good on paper, but it had its flaws. Maybe if they could re-execute it in MP9, that'd be great.

I say MPDS, closely followed by MP4 and MP8. The only reason I put DS over 4/8, is because I can bring MPDS with me wherever I want. I even play MPDS at school!
MPA is the worst, followed by 7.
