I've been wondering this, since it's so hard for me to find a non-party game for Wii.

Yes. in my opinion there aren't enough hardcore games. And to many are resolving to quick cash in titles.

Get Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn. That's a hardcore game.

No motion controls! Yay!

This subject is already touched on in other topics more directly. You can change the essence of the topic if you like but if not, I'll close it next time I'm online.

Wouldn't you say zelda is a good choice for a adventure? And hmmm, i could name games for the xbox 360 that are more adventurous, but for the Wii, i don't really know any.

Yeah, that's my point. I've played LoZ, SMG, and I'm gonna play MP3. There are actually some better games on DS. >.>

Then what's to debate about? xD
The topic "What Game Should I Get?" in Wii Gaming would be better-suited for your needs. That being said, I can name quite a few you'd be interested in if you need recommendations... again. ;)

And I hate it when people compare the Wii to the DS. The DS has, overall, a tad stronger third-party support, and it's been out a lot longer. Why can't people stop making comparisons to both.. but I'm digressing a bit...

RE: Are "hardcore" games diminishing on the Wii?

Thats like saying, why can't people stop comparing games to other games. When the sad fact is, it'll always happen!
Even though they shouldn't because when they do it's unfair, and the games generally could recieve a lower rating than would if "this" other game wasn't compared to it.

And imo i have to agree with knux here, you shouldn't compare Wii & DS. Ds has been out quite a long time before the Wii, of course there are a bigger selection of games, aswell as the fact, they've had longer to adapt to the technology and create a few more hardcore based games.

Where'as Wii is attracting too many third parties after quick cash in's instead of focussing on good stories.

ALthough a hardcore game, with adventure, i guess i could suggest no more heroes, look it up and see what you think, i believe it's a decent game. Although i can't remember if it's released in europe yet, but it's an adventure sorta game. Although playing as an assassion may not be your cup of tea.
