^ Heh. EF and ks8 will rule all with their open-mindedness. xD

Is this meaning physically or mentally?"

I'd say MENTAL with grammar like that. XD
Just kidding. It's both, really.

The whole idea of how games are hurting kids physically, and in another way too, psychologically because it promotes inactivity. Oh please. And then there's the whole mental aspect too of how games don't challenge kids enough. Again, I laugh in the face of both statements. They're almost ridiculous insinuations really.

RE: Are games "hurting" kids?

Contradictions.

Parents can use the fact games aren't active to make the kids top playing them. Hence the Wii. Nintendo did this for this fact, parents complain they aren't active enough. Go nintendo, great thoughts.

Now, parents also complain video games damage eyes, and can dumb their kids down.

However, eye damage would be caused with or without gaming, tv's exist don't they? Plus eyes only get damange, due to the light you play, watch etc... in. Technically cinema's are very bad for people, as your eyes have to re-adjust to the light. But people still go.

And obviously they complain games can dumb your kids down, although in fact they aren't noticing how smart your kid could actually be, for figuring out puzzles, multi-tasking and many other reasons, games are very technical.

I won't go any further into this, i'd rant for a whole page.

Yes EF, I feel exactly what you mean. My mom has no clue what some games can really be like, all she thinks is they're a waste of time. And ks8, ha.ha.ha.ha. You're pretty funny. :bored:

Lol, jk.

Well, games are generally just way to roll by the hours and let them go by, unheard of, but isn't gaming the same as reading a book? Sure it is, your still imaginging it, and thinking wow when you play it. Gaming can eb more related to tv really, you just sit their and watch tv. Gaming at least you are thinking too, and trying ot figure stuff out.

Most of the time, EF, ;) I really hope that I get my mom to realize that.

EF, continuing on your train of thought: not to mention actually ENGAGING and immersing yourself into the game a bit rather than just sitting on the couch watching TV, maybe getting a few laughs.

The complaint about "eye damage" that many make is, ultimately, flawed because, as you said, TV Shows exist too.

For example. Japan say sit away from the tv in a light room, so it doesn't damage your eyes asmuch.
