Well… the conversion of the mybb theme to wordpress theme has begun and so far it’s been quite stressful. This is my first theme and conversion i’m done so the source code right now is mixed up. However i’m starting to get an idea of everything especially CSS (which i’m a noob at..xD).

Like i said.. it’s very clutter right now but i’m in the process of fixing them and hopefully i’ll be done soon!

As a side note, i’ve learned many things while doing this conversion and once i’m done i don’t plan to stop. Soon after i’m done this conversion i plan on creating some mybb themes with a Wiidebate copright so that means hopefully each theme will bring us more traffic. More traffic=more members..=D

My last post was deleted (Read below) so i’m writing this again. The forums are up but is still under construction like adding all the mods, games and other missing files.. so it’s still not 100% yet.. i beleive it’s good for you guys to get together again..:-)

The weirdest thing happened today… i installing wordpress on my computer (localhost) and it seems like i used the same wp-config as this blogs and so it overwritten all my settings and options on this blog.. so the blogs (wiidebate) URL became http://locahost/wordpress…. from then i started to worry about what happened. Thanks to google i managed to find out what the problem was and re-uploaded the recent database backup of this blog… looks like i have bad luck with databases nowadays eh?

Anyways.. only a few comments were lost during this so i’m srry about that…:(

As a side note i am currently converting the wiidebate forum theme into a wordpress theme so both the blog and forum would have matching themes..:D (hence why i installed wordpress on my computer..:p)

Recently i’ve been accepted to be one of the beta testers of mybb 1.4 and decided to have a TEMPORARY forum set up on wiidebate. Please keep in mind that this isn’t the official Wiidebate forum just a forum for you guys to test out and see the functions of mybb 1.4 which once release to the public Wiidebate will be upgraded to. Please don’t pm me or ask me to give you the files because i can’t. Also, while testing out the functions of 1.4 if you run into some unusual bugs please notify me.

Wow, what a hectic few weeks. I’ve was really busy with school and i had no time for Wiidebate and unfortunately it went down. Just writing here to tell you what happened and what Wiidebate has planned for the future.

Right now i’m trying my very best to get the forums back up. There are some errors i’m getting that i’m still figuring out how to fix. Hopefully i can fix it as soon as possible.

For now i will keep this blog to inform you about any news or updates on the forum and the sites itself.

Now lets get rolling to the upcoming plans for Wiidebate. Mybb is coming out with their next release Mybb 1.4 which they estimate will come out before July so i plan on upgrading the forums. There are loads of additions and benefits coming with 1.4 such as a better warning system, the choice between horizontal or vertical postbit, Moderator control panel and so much more.

Another update is that this blog is going to stay as is but with a better skin hopefully soon. I am going to move the forums to http://www.wiidebate.com/forum after i’m done restoring the database.

As a side note when the forums are back up you may notice that the forums are going to be 3x faster than before because of the new hosting plan for Wiidebate which brings in 5gb of memory along with 50gb of bandwidth!!
